The Nasturtium features a lush, densely packed composition of trumpet shaped blossoms in vivid pinks, reds, oranges, and yellows, surrounded by the plant's distinctive round, shield-shaped leaves in various greens, with confetti glass scattered throughout adding texture and visual complexity. Sinuous stems wind throughout the design, connecting the flowers and foliage in a naturalistic cascade. A border of blue mottled glass frames the edge of the shade adding depth. The Library Base features a ribbed cushion foot decorated with a ring of spiral scrollwork where the fluted column rises from the base, finished in a rich green and brown verdigris patina. Overall height is approximately 24 inches.
