Tiffany Studios Turtleback Lantern

A rare Tiffany Studios hanging lantern featuring large, heavily textured turtleback glass tiles in the upper register. These thick, iridescent Favrile glass panels shift between, blue, green, and purple tones, creating a jewel-like effect. The lower section is composed of green glass set within a geometric bronze grid, providing elegant contrast to the organic richness of the turtlebacks above.

Housed in its original patinated bronze frame of hexagonal form, suspension ring, chain, and opening turtleback door at the bottom. The bronze retains a rich, undisturbed patina consistent with age.
